Labor's Help-to-Buy bill was debated in the Senate yesterday and the Build-to-Rent bills is due later this week, but so far they've failed to gain support from the Greens or the Coalition. 

But while the politicians scrap over how to move forward, key housing groups have formed an unlikely alliance calling for politicians to come to the table to help find solutions to the housing crisis.
