  • Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2020 has been officially cancelled

We Love Our Cereal

For the first time ever, The Roving Spoonster, Shane joins us to talk Dads and cereal. First, he shares news of each state’s favorite cereal. Did your favorite make the cut? Next, what can we do if our coffee creamer runs out? How about some cereal milk. Another casualty of cancellations is Battle Creek, Michigan’s National Cereal Festival. And have you ever tried to freeze your cereal? We’ll talk about some results.

Ultimate Pop Culture Dad Quiz!

It’s Father’s Day week. Do you remember all the dads that helped to raise you? We’re talking about, of course, the ones you saw on TV and in the movies. How much do you remember about these retro Pops and what they did right (and wrong) when raising their kiddos. Shane and Jay go head-to-head in this fun game of Daddy-ness.

Let’s All Go to the Movies - Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

On June 23, 1989 you may have been sitting in a movie theater watching the premiere of Tim Burton’s Batman. But if you couldn’t get in, you may have checked out another movie that opened that day. Disney’s Honey, I Shrunk the Kids starred a nice, wide variety of popular actors from the time, including Ghostbuster’s Rick Moranis and Max Headroom himself, Matt Frewer. It tells the story of four kids that get miniaturized by their quirky, scientist dad Wayne Szalinski. They have to cut their way through the backyard to find a way to get big again. Shane joins in the discussion as we revisit this fun, family comedy.
