Many are now calling for legislation to ban the practice. Reporter: Alex Emslie, KQED  The Kern County Sheriff’s Department says it’s received 1,500 inquiries, after releasing a recruitment video targeting Los Angeles County deputies who are at risk of losing their jobs if they don’t get vaccinated for COVID-19. Masks are no longer required in most indoor settings across the state, although some counties are keeping those guidelines in place.
