AMERICAN RIPPER, Part 4 of our Jack The Ripper series features an exclusive interview with Jeff Mudgett, host of AE/History Channel's recent 8 episode documentary on the life and crimes of Herman Webster Mudgett, better known as H.H. Holmes, serial killer, and evidence that their research team has complied that they believe links HH Holmes to the Ripper murders in London. Mudgett discusses his challenges in writing the book "Bloodstains", which inspired the show, as well as the life and crimes of his great-great grandfather, HH Holmes, whose body count from his murder palace hotel in Chicago in 1893 and that of his mistresses and associates will never be fully known, as Holmes tended to incinerate most of his victims. Mudgett also discusses what it was like working with the History Channel teams in the making of the special.   Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
