Roger Federer has announced his professional retirement. A career spanning 24 years, Federer began in Gstaad, Switzerland in July 1998, a tournament attended by our own David Law. David details some of his memories, talks to Telegraph Tennis Correspondent Simon Briggs about covering Federer, and we hear from Catherine Whitaker and Matt Roberts, who send in their thoughts and memories via voice note.

If you would like to hear more about Roger Federer, go back to our special episode recorded in July 2017 called simply, The Roger Federer Story.
