As the golf season is set upon us, so is baseball. We catch up with current Chicago Cub Ian Happ on today’s episode of Chasin’ Birdies. Happ, who won a Gold Glove in 2022, can’t kick his golf addiction, and the question is: What game does he love more?

Ian explains how this relationship was formed and what it’s all about. We dive into Ian’s early years in baseball and how he chose Cincinnati as his college program. 

We talk a bit about baseball and what it’s like being on the road and still managing a golf game. Ian clearly doesn’t miss any chance to play golf and is actively lining up golf spots while on the road.

Ian is a golf equipment junkie. He tells us what he’s currently playing down to the specific grinds of his WEDGES. It comes as no surprise he’s rolling it with a Bettinardi, as he has a nice little deal going with them. We talk more golf and hit on the courses that are in and around Chicago.
