Gavin Wanganeen is an AFL legend, who since retirement has also become an acclaimed contemporary Indigenous artist and Aboriginal activist. Gavin began painting as a means to connect with his culture and heritage, and to reconnect with the history of his family, country and people.

In today’s episode, Gavin talks about his transition from football to art, he shares the story of his art journey and how it's helping him deepen his connection with country.

We’re absolutely delighted to have Gavin as one of three Fringe Ambassadors for 2019.
