In this episode of the UTD Podcast, Helen Evans, Sam Homewood and David May are joined by Manchester United Academy graduate, Fraizer Campbell at Carrington Training Complex.

As a youngster, Fraizer was tipped as a rising star due to his goal-scoring prowess in the Reserves. The Yorkshire-born forward shares his journey through United’s youth system, before fulfilling the dream of making his First Team debut at Old Trafford.

Dubbed “Super Campbell” during his prolific loan spells at Royal Antwerp and Hull City, he was much sought-after in the Premier League; Fraizer tells us about his pivotal decision in the dramatic deadline-day deal between Man Utd and Tottenham Hotspur in the Dimitar Berbatov transfer.

The striker also opens up about the highs of stepping out onto the Wembley pitch for his England debut, and the lows of suffering two back-to-back Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tears.
