It's finally here, the very first episode of VIA VHS Flux Capacitor! The Flux Capacitor is your pop culture time machine, as we travel back in time to relive movies, music, news and pop culture from this week 20, 25, 30 and sometimes up to 50 years ago.

This week we are traveling back to the years 1984, 1989, 1994, and 1999.

In '99 we look back at the groundbreaking visual achievement The Matrix as it reigns supreme at the Box Office, while on the music charts Cher returns to no.1 on the Billboard charts after a decades long absence. TLC's No Scrubs still stands strong on the charts as we remember the R&B trio.

In 1994, Alex hates the number on hit from Ace of Base, D2: The Mighty ducks wins at the box office and we look back at the tragic death of the iconic Kurt Cobain which was 25 years ago this week.

We breeze through 1989 after we spend some time getting Footloose as both the film and title track are still on the charts in 1984. Also we check out that big hit from Rockwell with Michael Jackson singing the hook and we Jump down a few spots on the charts with Van Halen
