It's a new day. And it's a new dawn. A new beginning. It's always fresh at the start of a new year. Many of us saw 2020 in a negative light. I kind of look at it as a year of growth, a year of understanding, and a year of finding out who you really are. Let's get into this week's episode of Dead America. To overcome, you must educate. Educate not only yourself but educate anyone seeking to learn. We are all Dead America, we can all learn something. To learn, we must challenge what we already understand. The way we do that is through conversation. Sometimes we have conversations with others. However, some of the best conversations happen with ourselves. Reach Out and challenge yourself. Let's dive in and learn something right now. I am super excited for 2021. I have not felt this good coming into a year in many years. I'm starting the new year off seeing things in a new light. I've had plans for a few years to change who and what I am. And to develop the skills that I need to change my personal situation. We all have the power to do that. We all have the power to see positive or negative. The influences that we surround ourselves really matter. I look very hard for influences that can enhance me, to change me, to help me identify who I truly am, and not what somebody else thinks I might be. 2021 will be a great year. I know that my attitude going into the new year is a good attitude. So I can make sure I feel comfortable. I can understand who I am a little better by slowing down. A lot of us want to rush things in life. Baby steps, I always encourage people to slow down and enjoy life. Life is short, so we have to enjoy as much of it as we can. When we put too much pressure on ourselves, life is not enjoyable. So that's going to age us, that's going to make us feel calloused in many ways. Slow down. Look around you, identify who you are, and what you really want in life, and then go get it. It's up to you to find and develop the skills that you need to change your life situation. I've been in many situations in my life I've had to recover from, I've had to reevaluate what I was doing. It's critical that we understand where we are in life at all times. Always identifying our past to control our future. It's not easy to do. But when we can control the mind, it's going to help us a lot. So let's get into our new season of Dead America, we have a new season in the works. We've already recorded a couple shows, and we're super excited about the new changes that are coming to Dead America podcast. We've put a lot into Dead America in the last year, because we believe in who we are, and we believe that we can achieve what we set out to achieve. It might not go as we planned. But we still have our eye on the prize. And we are still pushing forward to our ultimate goal. How we get there? Well, that plan has to fluctuate, you have to be able to bend a little bit with what is going on in your life. Just remember, you want to be someplace later in life. So you've got to take the steps to plan out your future. It might not go as you plan. But it sure is nice to have a plan. Along with a good plan, you need a good support system. So find the people that you need around you. Those that will support you in your time of need, not pity you and not tell you what you want to hear. But those that have strength themselves, that will tell you what you need to hear, the things that will make you better in life. That's the challenge my friends, to challenge yourself to be told you need to be better by somebody else. That's not always easy. It's not always easy to take. But sometimes, it's great to listen to somebody else about...
