The Montreal Canadiens completed their season sweep of the Winnipeg Jets with a 3-2 overtime win on Monday night. Another great showing from Josh Anderson and a bounceback from Jake Allen helped the Habs steal two points from the Jets. Justin Barron overcame some rough moments to get the game-winning goal, and while the Habs are riding a nice little point streak, there are some worrying signs around the team as a whole after this game. Also of note is that the NHL holiday roster freeze kicks in on December 19th at midnight, with the Habs in the crosshairs of many possible trade rumours what does this mean for their potential moves? There is also prospects who have been recalled from the Laval Rocket that could be impacted, and it's a big test for Kent Hughes to navigate. The Habs play three more games before the freeze is lifted while the Rocket also have three games to play during it. Can the Habs and Rocket work through this roster shuffle to get both teams players that they need in the coming weeks?

Finally, speaking of the Laval Rocket, a new face appeared at practice for them today in the form of a veteran goalie on a try-out deal. 30 year old Kasimir Kaskisuo joined the team today after signing a PTO earlier in the day, giving the Rocket a prominent AHL veteran for the first time this season. What does this mean for the goalie rotation with the Rocket, and can this move give the team the stability it has needed in net since Kevin Poulin retired?
