Submit ReviewJohn and I had the privilege of being able to record an episode of TAWF during a wrestling event. However, this event was not just any kind of wrestling event. This event was The Mike McMahon show. Michael Antoine McMahon has been a professional wrestler for 20 years. He’s known for several characters throughout the Michigan independent wrestling scene (The Soul Taker and “The Boss” Mike McMahon).
Unfortunately, McMahon found himself in the biggest match of his life when he became seriously ill this past March. On this episode of TAWF, we were given the opportunity to interview McMahon during a benefit show for him at Front Row Sports Bar in Southgate, Michigan. We were able to ask him about his wrestling career, his take on different aspects of professional wrestling, and his road to recovery.
I hope all of you enjoy this episode of The Accidental Wrestling Fan. It was an honor to have a wrestler take time out of their day to give us an interview. Also, I would like to extend the gratitude of Podbros Network to Front Row Sports Bar for allowing us to set up our equipment and record during the show.
