Presenter John Urquhart guides learners through the intricacies of the Gaelic language, dialects, idioms and sayings. In this week’s programme John shares clips from some of the BBC’s Gaelic output which he uses to illustrate some of the complexities of the language, grammar help is on hand from resident expert Dr Michel Byrne and Ishbel Murray meets learner of the week Hugh Ross who shares his experience of learning Gaelic. The programme also includes Roddy Maclean’s weekly look at Scotland’s Gaelic placenames and a profile of Gaelic singer Iain "Costello" MacIver.
