Chad McPhail Design is a full service Los Angeles-based interior design studio specializing in high-end residential interiors as well as commercial design for creative-based industries from coast-to-coast.  The firm’s holistic approach spans a variety of influences, periods and styles resulting in a highly customized, client-driven experience.   Chad graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2003 and began his career as a designer and project manager at the exclusive New York residential and luxury retail design firm MR Architecture + Décor.  After several years at the helm of the interiors department for renowned interior and product designer Laura Kirar, Chad returned to his native Southern California and, in 2013, established Chad McPhail Design.   Combining a sophisticated understanding of color, texture, light and scale with a love for both historical narrative and collaboration with contemporary craftspeople, Chad creates spaces that are timeless, balanced and unique to both client and location.  The firm’s variety of commercial and residential projects run the gamut in terms of scope and style, but each is thoughtfully designed and realized to reflect and enhance the lives of the clients who inhabit them.
