Anita Dawson is an interior designer based in Southern California. Her background in fine arts and performing arts led to management positions with organizations such as the Amon Carter Museum, Old Globe Theatre and Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego. But she soon realized that her true calling was a more creatively hands on environment. Dawson Design Group was established in 2007 and has grown into an award winning firm that is at the forefront of modern interior design for luxury homes. Clients gravitate towards Anita’s easy going style and clean-lined approach to design that she has honed over the past decade. With new construction and major remodel projects in San Diego, Orange County, Austin, Chicago, and Atlanta she provides homeowners with sophisticated, interesting spaces that are unique to each client. It’s through close collaboration that Anita and her seven member team realize the best designs. “When the client has total faith in our vision, the project becomes more inventive and, ultimately, more successful.” She also regularly designs and fabricates custom furnishings which further personalize each space.
