Teddie and Courtney Garrigan are the mother-‐daughter dynamos whose personal and creative flair is the foundation for their award-‐winning home accents retail shop, Coco Dash, and the soon to be open, Ciao, Coco!.   Their distinctive aesthetic is showcased in a light and airy space located in Dallas’ popular Henderson Avenue District. The historic H Street Shops building is the backdrop for a retail vision that is a smart mix of home furnishings—classic and modern, approachable and exceptional—offered up with plenty of Southern hospitality.   While Courtney has developed a signature style that embodies beauty and function, she has a propensity for quirky finds that are seamlessly incorporated with classic elements. Passionate about her love of imperfection in design she contributes a fresh approach to the retail business.   With a love of all things home, Teddie is known for her keen eye and a sense of style resulting from a lifetime of travel. A devout southerner who grew up living in Europe, she brings a  relaxed and fun sophistication to Coco Dash along with a modern sense of luxury that is fresh, stylish, and timeless.   Teddie and Courtney share an irreverent sense of humor and use their professional backgrounds in conflict resolution and counseling everyday in the retail world.   Coco Dash is the 2016 Winner of the ARTS Award for Best Home Décor Shop in Midwest/Southwest, was named one of House Beautiful’s Best Shops in America, and has been named Best of D Magazine and Best of D Home each year since opening in 2014.   Estimated to open early fall of 2017 is Caio, Coco!, a super cool home accessories and lifestyle shop catering to a laid back lifestyle lived in color. Think French/Italian Riviera in the 1950’s and 60’s. Makes you want to smile, doesn’t it? The airy venue is small, with a custom designed courtyard that provides the perfect entrance to a happy experience. Ciao!   The world of design retail can be quite fascinating. It is part theatre, part business, and a lot of psychology. We see the best and the worst in people. But we love what we do. We work with interior designers, architects, and home lovers who rely on us to set a tone they can trust. –Teddie and Courtney Garrigan Explore their Website here
