Manhattan-based architectural and interior designer, Nina Carbone is known for clean-lined and timeless spaces that incorporate clients’ ideas and personalities but also celebrate real life. The structure of her rooms—the furniture plans, spatial design and object placement—is usually referential to modernism: logical, dynamic, but not overstuffed.   After graduating from Princeton University, Nina began her career as an editor at Glamour magazine and, following, a freelance writer. It wasn’t until 2008 that she fully embraced her long-time love of design and returned to school, this time to study at the New York School of Interior Design. Positions at Kemble Interiors and Christina Murphy Interiors followed.   Prior to founding her eponymous firm in the fall of 2016, Nina worked at Christina Murphy Interiors for seven years designing and executing projects both near (New York City, Connecticut, Long Island) and a bit more far flung (Miami, Palm Beach, The Abacos, Bahamas). Past projects have been featured in House Beautiful, Coastal Living and Architectural Digest.   Explore Nina's Website here   Add Nina's book recommendation, A Frame for Life, to your design library by clicking here
