Submit ReviewWelcome to episode 40.75 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: Occupation and Defender. On this Scoundrel's Special Edition, Jay, Dennis, and Darth Taxus discuss the Rebels' return to Lothal. First, they start with "The Occupation." When the Rebellion receives a transmission from Lothal concerning the Empire's TIE Defender project, Ezra and the rest of the crew of the Ghost vow to return to their home planet. However, getting to Lothal is a challenge. Therefore, the group hires a smuggler and disguises themselves. In addition, their cover doesn't last long.
Once they rendezvous with their contact on Lothal, they investigate the Empire's project in the episode "Flight of the Defender." Sabine isn't content to just report intel to the Rebellion, she wants the TIE Defender's flight data recorder. However, that decision puts her and Ezra squarely in Thrawn's sites. Plus, there is a little issue of the white loth-cat and the loth-wolf and his role in the Force. Why is Ezra the only one that can see him? What did he mean by "Dume?" Jay, Dennis, and Taxus discuss this and more in this week's episode.
