The blues are also in buoyant mood following the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti, in spite of the exit to Leicester in the League Cup and the dull, yet credible, 0-0 draw against Arsenal. The reds meanwhile, reflect on the impressive performance from some of their youngsters in the League Cup tie vs Villa, despite losing 5-0. Harvey Elliot, in particular, receiving praise from the lads, who discuss whether we will now see him get more exposure to first team football in the coming months. The episode is capped off by previewing four games between both sides, with Liverpool looking to go 13 points clear as they face Leicester away and Everton looking forward to Carlo Ancelotti’s first game in charge against Burnley on Boxing Day, before Everton travel to Newcastle and Liverpool host Wolves at Anfield.
