At the AHL level, the Charlotte Checkers are alive and well and are heading into the second... er... third round of the Calder Cup playoffs. In the WHL, the Seattle Thunderbirds have reached the Western Conference Championship Series and will take on the Kamloops Blazers. And at the NHL level, the second round of the playoffs is now underway.
