In my second queen rearing podcast I discuss a very simple technique of creating new queens from an existing hive that has thrown up queen cells. I call it the "Two Nucs" method of queen rearing, a method that has been in use by beekeepers for many years and one that can create many new colonies over the course of a season. No complicated equipment is required just a couple of spare nuc boxes.

Possibly one of the best sources of accurate beekeeping information currently available on the internet is a website managed by Roger Patterson here in the UK, originally set up by a beekeeper called Dave Cushman.
