EDITOR’S NOTE:  Nothing we say in this show is legal advice.  We just wanted people to know the difference between a copyright and a trademark.

It appears that WWE wasn’t too amused with the Bullet Club’s “invasion” of Monday Night RAW this past Monday.  The show took place in Ontario, California, which isn’t too far from where The Young Bucks live.  The main goal of Bullet Club was to find a WWE Stooge that keeps sending them cease and desist orders and reclaim the gimmicks that WWE stole from them (Cody’s last name, Marty Scurll’s umbrella, etc.)

Cody (Rhodes) made a few cracks about WWE’s attendance after a few fans mentioned getting tickets for free.  One of the cracks included asking if, “this was the show that Jinder was on.”  The next day, WWE sent The Young Bucks a cease and desist for using the “Too Sweet” gesture.

The Bucks and The E have tangled over the trademark before, but nothing really came of it until this week.  Although the “Too Sweet” gesture was made famous by the NWO, WWE can’t really do much as far as trademarking the gesture as it’s incredibly similar to the Texas Longhorns’ “Hook ‘Em Horns” gesture.  Looks like this is just a play to stop The Bucks and Bullet Club from making money off of “Too Sweet.”

Also, we discuss someone of the bizarre trademarks of WWE.  What the hell is a Darewolf?  Is Simon Gotch really dead?!  Find out on this week’s episode of The Accidental Wrestling Fan!
