Submit ReviewOn this episode, meet Resilient DeeDee, a participant of the Real Resilience program and a faithful rider on Ride and Rebuild prison transportation service. She’s a mother of four, 2 boys and 2 girls, born and raised in New York but has considered Philadelphia her home for over 30 years.
She’s an entrepreneur, works in the youth development field and for the past 5 years has been supporting her husband who is incarcerated. Her support is emotional, financial and quite frankly, by any means necessary, because changes can happen with his appeal at the spur of the moment.
DeeDee shares her journey and drops jewels for women on how to stay resilient while experiencing the predicament of incarceration.
