This two-part series is one of the most scandalous and high-profile cases in Texas true crime history: the mysterious death of world-ranked equestrian and socialite Joan Robinson Hill. She was the daughter of wealthy oilman Ash Robinson and lived in the illustrious neighborhood of River Oaks in Houston. The chain of events leading up to and after Joan’s death is incredibly bizarre and would prompt one of the most unpredictable medical investigations and legal proceedings ever before seen in the Lone Star State.Sources:Ewing, B.
