This week on The DFO Rundown, Frank and Jason were joined by one of the newest members of the San Jose Sharks: Andrew Cogliano. The NHL veteran talked about the early days of his career with the Edmonton Oilers, the free agent process (which he experienced for the first time), and why he decided to stay on the west coast.

From there, they also talked about the idea of ‘loving the game’ and how his relationship with hockey has changed since he was a fresh-faced rookie almost 15 years ago. They also talked about what’s next for ‘Cogs’ and what he wants to do after his playing career is done. Gregor also opened up a conversation about officiating in the game and got Cogliano’s take on the way things have changed over the years and how he would like to see the games called.

To wrap things up, they looked back at his time with the Dallas Stars from how sideways last year went to how much he enjoyed being in the organization.
