We’re continuing our streak of talking about boys on boats with Patricia Highsmith’s 1955 novel and its 1999 adaptation The Talented Mr. Ripley directed by Anthony Minghella starring Matt Damon, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. A rare gem in that the book and the film are wonderful but for very different reasons, you’ll hear us talk about the relatability of our main character Tom Ripley (despite him being a little Norman Bates-y) as well as the Italian Riviera fever-dream that is Jude Law’s tan. Of course, this episode wouldn't be complete without fanfare for the return of our inaugural Radaptations Beef Boy, Matt Damon, who is giving Lean Turkey Boy in this film.
