Dylan scholar and founding director of the Institute for Bob Dylan Studies at Tulsa University Sean Latham joins the show. He shares his thoughts on Bob's new book The Philosophy of Modern Song, some of the insights he's gained and discoveries he's made while exploring the Bob Dylan archives, the parallels between Dylan and James Joyce, his experience bringing Dylan fans together for the 2019 symposium, what's planned for the 2022 and '23 Tulsa events, and what role the archive will have in shaping Dylan's legacy.
