Hey Sox fans! The Chicago White Sox (67-67) just won a series against the Minnesota Twins and history was almost made by Dylan Cease. The White Sox have played the last six games without Tony La Russa as their manger. He has stepped away indefinitely due to medical issues. Bench coach, Miguel Cairo, has taken over and the team has appeared to respond in a positive way. Several players have talked about the new brand of baseball and attitude that has already emerged. The Sox have cut into Cleveland's AL Central lead and are within striking distance. Now, the White Sox head out west to take on the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics. Can this new shift in energy be sustained? All we know is that the Sox are playing better baseball and it couldn't come at a better time. Thank you for the continued support, Go Sox!
