Welcome to episode 18 of Crate Diggers! Back once again, Crate Diggers is a music / interview podcast using vinyl records as a jumping off point for conversations between artists or other cool people. Crate Diggers is hosted by DJ and artist, Verbz and is engineered by his brother, Space Gods producer Steez. Episode 18 of Crate Diggers features multi-talented artist, Dizz. Dizz is known in Portland for his R&B style, synth laden production, and his work with WeOutHere.net. WeOutHere.net is a Portland based music / culture blog focusing on Northwest music. You can listen to Dizz’s own podcast with fellow WOHM big wig, Mac Smiff on WeOutHere.net’s Mixcloud. A truly vinyl packed episode with hip hop and R&B flavor. Each episode of Crate Diggers features a producer we would like to highlight. Most of the beats were created by our featured producer for episode 18, Lefty Did It, an LA producer with an old school feel. He’s also one of the producers I’ve spun most in the last year or two with the music he’s produced for Portland nomad Myke Bogan. Their collaborative album, Casino Carpet will be dropping in the near future. For now, you can pick up his latest project with LA rhymer D’rok The Menace entitled Self: A Realization. Also featured on this episode were beats submitted by producers from around the globe. First up we have Philly producer, Ethan Fisher (Bandcamp). Next up is a young producer representing Austin, Texas JStewOnTheBeat (Soundcloud). We also featured DTG Production (Website) based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Last but not least, we featured a beat by producer Chris Prythm (it.com/">Website) out of Virginia. If you’d like to hear your beats on our show, please email us TAGLESS mp3s of your beats. Please no full songs. You can email us at verbz(@)cratediggers.net. Special thanks to Steez for dropping of few of his own beats into the mix. Thank you for listening to and supporting our podcast. You can subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, Mixcloud, Audiomack, and your favorite podcasting platform. If you’d like more information on the artists involved please check out CrateDiggers.net. We are also on Twitter and Instagram as @Crate_Diggers. Leave us a review on iTunes and I’ll shout you out in our next intro. Bless! – Verbz FOLLOW
