Zo enters a world of magic, rot and decay. This world shouldn't be this way as this magical place was once green and briming with life. In time Zo finds out that a prophecy must be fulfilled in order for this world to be restored to its former glory. A rare being, a Gelfling who is guided by creatures known as the Mystics, is said to be the one to find the Crystal Shard that can be used to heal the world. On his way this Gelfling may find allies, but there are also numerous adversaries in the wilds. The wicked rulers of this world, known as the Skeksis, will stop at nothing to prevent the prophesy from coming to pass. They would do anything to prevent any surviving Gelfling from using the Crystal Shard to restore The Dark Crystal.
