It's a holiday Monday edition of The DFO Rundown! Frank and Jason got things going by talking about the trade that happened over the weekend between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Arizona Coyotes. They explained why this is one of those deals that just made sense for both sides. From there, they got into the Coyotes rebuild and arena situation. Gregor gave his take on how long he believes a proper rebuild really takes.

They then dug into the Western Conference playoff race and talked about a pair of struggling teams in Nashville and Dallas. That naturally brought them to talking about playoff seeding and the idea of the NHL adding a play-in tournament. They also hit on the Canucks heading into the trade deadline and what Jim Rutherford and his group could be looking to do.

To wrap things up, they brought in Tyler Yaremchuk for a new edition of 'Fill in the Blank' delivered by DoorDash!
