Submit ReviewNahela Morales is a Mexican American convert to Islam, a single Mother, and a marching, shouting, oppression fighting activist. Listen as she walks us through her conversion to Islam after 9/11 and how she began to live a life completely devoted to the service of the people. She is non-stop. The Women's March, the border wall, and marching against discrimination are just a few of her usual yearly calendar. She shares her greatest project with ICNA, Embrace, which provides a safe space for converts to Islam to gather, support, and feel they are part of a community. She can't do enough and she helps us share her vision of community service.
