This first season of Looking Up has been such an amazing experience and I’m both happy and sad it’s coming to an end. Don’t worry, there’ll be a special recap for you next week, followed by the premiere of Looking Up, season two, out September 14! Closing us out, I had the pleasure of talking to Los Angeles based Quigley Goode: soon-to-be mom, former American Idol contestant, blogger, creator, and educator. Our conversation is full of the ups and downs she’s faced since her time on the singing competition; whether that’s an understanding of what that rejection meant for her, the reinvention of herself through a new name, or the pursuit of building up self-confidence in herself and in others. Quigley is the epitome of resilience, overcoming so much and finding ways to highlight self growth and adaptability in the midst of less than ideal situations.
