The Cincinnati Bengals welcomed the Los Angeles Rams to their practice field in the first of two intrasquad practices before finishing preseason play on Saturday night against each other.

Dave Lapham In The Trenches, presented by First Star Logistics, looks at how the day unfolded as the Super Bowl Champion Rams took on the AFC Champion Bengals with quarterback Joe Burrow and others looking to sharpen their skills as they prepare for their season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a few weeks.

Lap gives his take on Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald and how the Bengals offensive line performed with the battle still going on for the starting left guard position between Jackson Carman and Cordell Volson.

And while there is always plenty of talk about the Bengals "Big Three" receivers of Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, Lad stresses there is another "Big Three" on the opposite side of the ball at safety with Jessie Bates, Vonn Bell, and rookie Dax Hill.
