Dalton Ross on the Oral History of the Dragonz
In a special bonus Survivor podcast, Rob Cesternino is joined by Entertainment Weekly Survivor writer Dalton Ross to discuss his newest oral history. The essay was an oral history on what he called “the greatest Survivor rock band ever”: the Dragonz, a rock band started at Ponderosa in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains by the first three jurors of the season.
Dalton interviewed the three founding members of the Dragonz, Benjamin “Coach” Wade, Courtney Yates, and James “J.T.” Thomas, Ponderosa video director Norwood Cheek, contestant manager Caitlin Moore, later jurors on the season Amanda Kimmel, Candice Cody, and Danielle DiLorenzo, to get their takes on every moment surrounding the history of the Dragonz rock band.
