Courtney Act Is The Girl From Oz! Courtney has become a household name here in the States, but she comes from a land far far away. If she were to click her heels three times, she'd end up in Australia! As a young queen down under, she became enamored with Sydney's glamorous divas , longing to join their ranks. After Vanity couldn't bear to see her struggle continue, she taught Courtney her secrets and set her on the path to true Queendom. From there, she would compete in Australian Idol and eventually move to the U.S. as an "Alien Of Extraordinary Ability." In 2013, competed on Season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race. Her beauty, wit, and talent skyrocketed her to the top 3, alongside Adore Delano Bianca del Rio. Since then, she has traveled the world and exposed herself to audiences far and wide (wink wink.) Tomorrow, she will be bringing "The Girl From Oz," her latest one-woman show, to the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The show is a love song to her homeland and a primer in all things Australian!
