Welcome, loyal podcast listeners, to a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio! This week, we look at Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl's dominating performance against the Avalanche, Dave Tippett's roster choices, fighting after clean hits, and a whole lot more. To start off this week's episode, we jumped in with a look at the Giant question of the week which was who you would vote for Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl as the NHL's MVP if the season was over today. As expected, the answers were split right down the middle and the debate caused the first of a few arguments that happened during this week's show. Sticking with Connor and Leon, we broke down last night's
dominating win over the Avalanche which was a welcomed change after
Tuesday's disappointing loss in San Jose. Next up, we talked about Zack Kassian's game and whether or not it makes sense that
he had to fight Matt Calvert after absolutely demolishing Nathan MacKinnon with a clean hit in the opening moments of the first period. With the gushing over last night's game out of the way, we changed gears a little bit with a look hat tricks and if it matters or not when people throw their hats. As always, it was a jam-packed podcast complete with all of the ups and downs you've come to expect from this group of angry misfits.
