Kicking off the release of her first book, Buy Yourself the F*cking Lilies: and Other Rituals to Fix Your Life, From Someone Who's Been There, Tara got comfortable in Catt's bedroom and opened up about her life behind the book.

She talks about growing up in an unstable, neglectful and financially insecure household, and what it was like to receive visits at school by social services. Tara also shares what happened when she struck out on her own; hugely successful in her career but deeply struggling with her mental health. Things came to a head one night in her mid-20s when she made a drunken phone call to her therapist proclaiming suicidal thoughts.

Also in this week's episode, Tara talks about the power of small self-care rituals, why journaling every day is important, and how she learned to re-parent herself with the help of a google doc (don't worry, she explains).

And, in this conversation, Catt recalls an uncomfortable moment of her censorship from her time at E!... and how she's itching to play matchmaker for Tara.
