In this bonus episode, CJ Williams, as a woman of color, discusses her struggles with grief, fear, and anger with the happenings over the last several weeks. There are incredibly complicated feelings of being called names, demoralized, and working hard to only get half as much. This is why the black and brown communities in the United States are protesting against the systematized and institutionalized racism that exists. CJ starts with fear and shows her anger in this episode. The onus is on white communities to be better and use their privilege to make this country move. There is more than being “not racist”, but instead being ANTI-racist. Learn more and get useful resources at sorrytohearpodcast.com
