Shanahan and Hopkins reflect on what how the venue stayed afloat during and coming out of the pandemic, and share what Metro means as a community space for generations of fans and families. They also discuss the talent that has performed on the Metro stage across all four decades, and share why performers return to the venue.
Additionally, they speak on Metro as an incubator for Chicago artists over the decades, and emphasize the importance of having a diverse calendar of events and performers to keep the Metro innovative.
