CW: Attempted murder, threats of gun violence, crime families, threatening children, hostage situations, sexual abuse and harassment, student-teacher sexual relationships, suicide, murder, cannibalism, mental illness, corpses, death of a loved one, grief, grief during the holidays.
This is probably the first episode this season that’s truly felt like filler. Jughead and Betty get some more information about Mr. Chipping, but it’s not good, and it’s borderline offensive. Veronica’s having to fend off “Papi” from shutting down Archie’s community center, while Archie has to fight off a familiar face to make sure nobody gets shot at the El Royale. And then there’s Cheryl and Toni, who are, shall we say, cooking up a plan to dispose of Uncle Bedford. It’s a little boring, a little weird, and a little not great way to set up for a season finale. Come sit and stare at the television with us this week on The Doghouse.
