Find us at: iTunes Spotify Patreon CW: Attempted murder, severed limbs, violence, car accidents, serial killers. This is one of those episodes of Riverdale where we start to wonder if we’re really setting ourselves up to start throwing things at the television. Sure, Betty comes up with a half-decent plan to catch the Gargoyle King, and Mary Andrews comes to rescue her son from what should have been certain death. But these writers are notoriously lazy, and they proved it by some of the ridiculous choices in this episode, and next week’s preview. There’s one thing for sure, though - whoever the DJ is at Riverdale High’s junior prom, we want them to drop some exquisite 80’s synthpop gems at our next gathering.
