CLICK HERE TO FIND US ON YOUR FAVORITE PODCATCHER. CW: Discussion of serial killers, stalking, fan harassment, union-busting, true crime, gaslighting, manipulation, gunfire, asphyxiation, trauma. This show didn’t break us with an organ-harvesting cult. Didn’t destroy us with Edgar Evernever launching to heaven in an Evel Knievel rocket. It didn’t even keep us down forever after Archie got mauled by a bear. No, instead, it’s this episode, a boring, lackluster musical episode that simply took all the tension and through-lines of this season and flattened them as thin as a piece of paper. I mean, who cares who TBK is? Why bother creating parallels with the Core Four’s trauma and Percival’s attack on Riverdale? Anything for this show’s creator to introduce another failed musical for which, by the way, he wrote the book. This is one of Riverdale’s worst episodes yet, and that’s saying something folks. Dare to dive in as we discuss “Chapter 112: American Psychos” this week on The Doghouse.
