This week on Scream at the Screens, Ricardo, Tiffany, Wade and Tasty Tyler are excited to cover Captain America: Civil War a.k.a Avengers Lite. It is one of those rare episodes where everyone agrees on a movie, resulting in ADHD style conversations that are quick to degrade into amusing side notes. Never the less, the movie is covered and everyone is given the appropriate amount of time to gush about their favorite character.

The episode starts with this week in entertainment, and like a girl with a crush, the panel can’t resist discussing Game of Thrones and the failure to launch with the infamous R+L = J fan theory.

Discussed Here

And a Tyrion one Here

The team discussed the trailer for Swiss Army Man. A story of the flatulent corpse of Daniel Radcliff working as a Swiss Army tool for a suicidal man. That’s not an exaggeration…

The crew happily gets into the meat of the review discussing the new characters like Black Panther and the latest reboot of Spider-Man. There are no complaints about the direction and character arcs and everyone agrees a reserved villain that uses the weaknesses of the team against themselves was well-played, leaving room for more focus on the character relationships.

Credit is given to the excellent combination of directors, writers and producers who have experience in making other Marvel films successes. While a subtle (note not subtle) snub to Zack Snyder’s mess of Batman vs Superman is gleefully delivered.

The overall panel rating delivers an average of 9.5 Tasty’s (the latest rating system of a 1 low to a 10 high)

The review is rounded up with Tyler’s Take of the first Iron Man, where he voices his distaste for Pepper Potts (sorry gingers) and is introduced to the Iron Man back story of weapon sales.

A quick preview of the upcoming Marvel movies are discussed with hope for more unexpected superhero mash ups.

Superhero movie forecast can be found Here

Due to a lack of any cinema releases worth the $10 ticket, the panel is able to fall back on favorite movie sub-genres, which for next week will be Iconic 80’s Action Movies

Tiffany, Wade and Ricardo present the following selection of their favorite 80’s action movies, of which will set the selection for next week’s Tyler’s Take.

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark

The Running man

Roadhouse
