TODAY: Bruce Davison, American actor with a background in stage and a legacy of film and TV roles across all genres. After making his Broadway debut in 1968, Davison made his film debut with the cult classic horror film Willard, where he played the title role, a twisted version of the Pied Piper who trains rats to kill his enemies. He would go on to reprise this role in the sequel and the 2003 remake. His most acclaimed role was the portrayal of a man with AIDS in Longtime Companion, the first major Hollywood movie to deal with the subject, which won Davison a Golden Globe.
