Reports from several national and local reporters indicate the Pittsburgh Steelers will choose Omar Khan to be the team's new GM, and Andy Weidl to be Assistant GM. Khan has spent the past 21 seasons working in the Steelers' front office, with his most recent title being Vice President of Football and Business Administration. Andy Weidl has 24 years of NFL front office experience and is the current Philadelphia Eagles Vice President of Player Personnel.

The two decisions could mean the departure of Brandon Hunt, who was thought to be a frontrunner for the Steelers GM search and has served as the team's Pro Scouting Coordinator since 2010.
