We got access to a sneak preview and…well, let’s just say we’re glad we didn’t spend money on a full-price ticket. There’s some good acting, and competent direction and production, but the script is possibly the most contrived, hacky story you could make. It does a great job of educating the viewer about cystic fibrosis without being didactic, but it never earns its emotional payoff and constantly reminds the viewer that they’re being manipulated.
