Media, social scientists, and the government have weaponized how black parents raise their children. However, the joys of raising black children-shaping minds and future generations- are invisible. The Revs will talk about the intersectional ancestral ethos of the joys and challenges of black parenting- past and present- highlighting the African proverb, “it takes a village.”
