On episode six of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO ON WROCK we will be playing music from three brand new film scores. The show opens up with new music by Gaute Storaas from the Norwegian historical epic, BIRKEBEINERNE featuring the outstanding song “Bifröst” performed by Helene Boksle. You’ll also hear music by Spanish composer Victor Reyes from the television series, THE NIGHT MANAGER. And Ye Xiaogang and Chad Cannon score the Chinese war epic, THE CAIRO DECLARATION.Our John Williams album of the week comes from Williams’ 1976 score to Alfred Hitchcock’s final film, FAMILY PLOT. Our Golden Age score of the week, as voted by YOU, is La La Land Records’ release of THE EGYPTIAN by Alfred Newman and Bernard Herrmann. Our video game score of the week is Jeremy Soule’s brilliant music from THE ELDER SCROLLS IV: OBLIVION.
