Star Trek returns to your television screens with season 2 of Discovery, and what an amazing first episode it is. We have a quick review of the action, and in other Star Trek news, the town council of Vulcan, Alberta, Canada has approved the Klingon Bird of Prey initiative.
The Orville has been knocking it out of the park lately. We are enjoying the series as an homage to Star Trek: The Next Generation. It is not a rip-off or a parody. We compare the series to Space Balls and a lively discussion ensues.
The Punisher returns to Netflix for season 2. We talk a little bit about the action and the amazing van Frank Castle drives around in.
Movie Reviews: Over the last few days, we watched several films and talk about each of them. Smoky and the Bandit may be from 1977, but some people have still not seen it. We talk about the film and Sally Field. Shawn went to the theatre this week and saw the newest in the Transformers franchise - Bumblebee. Bumblebee just may be the best of the Transformers films so far! To finish off, we discover a terrific double feature of sensory deprivation films. A Quiet Place and Bird Box have many similiarities, but are also quite different from each other. Overall, each of these films are a great way to spend a couple of hours.
